They'll do anything to get you to buy crap you don't need...

From a marketing standpoint this makes sense. From an anti high-mass consumer standpoint this is sorta gross.

  1. I think it's telling that the marketers feel that teenagers bring authenticity to the message. It won't take long for teens figure out that if they say the right things they get more free stuff.

    I have a big problem with the "personal brand" concept that urges you to live your life as though you are a product. This just seems like more of that thinking.
